Privacy Policy

Age requirement: 

Applicants must be at least 18 years old to apply for a room with Apple Houses and be legally allowed to reside within the UK (proof will be required when signing the contract)

Tenancy term: The minimum tenancy term is for 48 weeks, with the option to renew for a further 48 weeks.

Security deposit: A security deposit of £300 rent is required at the time of signing the contract.

Rent: Rent is due on the first day of each month if you pay monthly or on the day you receive your student loan should you pay termly. It is payable via bank transfer or with cash.

Utilities: Utilities are included in the rent with a £500 per person allowance for utilities excess.
Parking: Parking and parking permits (the latter not being included in the rent) are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Pets: Pets are considered at Apple Houses depending upon the type of pet, the consent of all other tenants in the property and the pet owner providing proof of damages insurance for the pet.

House rules: All residents must abide by the house rules, which are detailed in the contract.
Termination of tenancy: once the contract is signed, both parties are legally bound to honour the contract subject to the terms laid out in the contract.

Dispute resolution: Any disputes arising out of this agreement will be referred to the University of Gloucestershire’s Accommodation Office.

All tenants must provide a UK based Guarantor.

Additional terms and conditions:
Apple Houses reserves the right to refuse an application for any reason.
Apple Houses reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of this agreement at any time.
All residents must be in good standing with their rent payments and other obligations under this agreement as detailed in the contract.
Apple Houses is not responsible for any personal property that is lost or damaged at Apple Houses.
